Seems old and little run down

Where to start. The entire hotel area is very welcoming and made for you to feel at rest. Starting from all staff members! Room was very spacious, tidy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very extensive convering every needs. Also for people on a vegan diet. We even got some tofu in the morning - so definetly a plus. Gym was well equipped and clean. Location is also perfectly situated. Quick walk into „town“ where a lot of restaurants and shops are. Close by shops and bike rental also good to explore the island. We did not use any restaurants on site. Beach is wonderful and offers stunning sundown. Ocean with strong currents but it is possible to take a dip when you are able to swim. But please respect local commands. Thank you we really enjoyed our short stay!

Everything was totally fine. We do not understand some mentioning that „renovations“ are needed. It is a well taken care of hotel complex, super clean and tidy.

The hotel has direct access to the beach which is beautiful but I was unaware you couldn’t go in the sea this time of year. The grounds are big and well looked after.

The room felt very dated and damp, not like other Dusit Thani hotels I’ve stayed in, ready for renovation.
