Stunning place full of character and charm. Really surprised how lovely it was seeing the cost was so reasonable. Staff were so accommodating and went over and above to make our short stay memorable. Absolutely will go back again.

We love staying at this hotel especially when we use Gatwick as the main airport. Hotel is surrounded with nature and hotel stuff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived very late and our room was too hot and night manager was super fast finding us an alternative. We slept well and on top had a lovely English breakfast at the restaurant.
Knowing this property for years, it might need a little facelift. Bedding seems little tired and some decor doesn't fit in the modern style anymore. BUT overall we still like this place.

We have stayed here before, location is excellent for getting to Gatwick airport. Nice comfy stay before heading home.
We had a room upgrade which was great, Anne Boelyn suite. Unfortunately the bathroom needed a good bleach as alot of mould in shower.

Lovely Tudor buildings had a lot of character.
Very poor room cleanliness ( thick cobwebs, dust and accumulated dirt). No ventilation in bathroom. Broken radiator. Staffing seemed minimal. Poor ( and partially used) toiletries in bathroom. Catering very mediocre, expensive and tasted “deep fried”.
