Blackwell Grange Hotel

Staff so friendly and helpful especially Lyndsey (from Bradford) on reception. Lyndsey went above and beyond for me and my partner on our 1st night and made us feel so welcome. Lyndsey is a absolute diamond and gives amazing customer service 👏 Well done Lyndsey (sorry if I've spelt it wrong) Also to the guy (manager i think) bald guy who let us in for breakfast 35-40 mins early as we got the times mixed up so a massive thank you to him and the lovely lady on reception this morning who went out of her way to fetch coffee bags to our room this morning and even gave us some biscuits too. Amazing staff so caring and helpful.

I didn't rate the food (evening meals). It was edible but not great for being such a high end hotel. My sizzler plate didn't come out sizzling and my pizza the following night was luke warm. We asked for fried and got chunky chips when I heard my partner order fried from 2 foot away but still got it wrong. I never complained as I didn't want anyone to get wrong so never got the situation rectified.

Green surroundings, very relaxed, large room and great breakfast

Limited parking at certain times

Breakfast was lovely. Location good views around the room.

They did not have any vegetarian Sausages available for 2 days breakfast. The Sauna was not heating up on my last day; even when water added to the Cole. The second sauna was not working either. An wringer placed in the ladles changing room to spin excess water from my swimming would be helpful. There was too many leaves on the grounds in the outside spar areas. Should to be swept regularly. The place looks nice. Brown leaves on the ground spoils the beauty. There is not always someone present at the desk when you enter the leisure centre. They do show you around and explain how to use the facilities.

Main hotel and location was perfect. Decor of hallways needs attention. Service in restaurant was slow
