Penventon Park Hotel

All staff were friendly,welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was excellent with hot items freshly prepared. Room was clean. Bathroom was outstanding - luxurious bath and shower. Gym and pool facilities good

Gym required a deep clean and daily cleaning to be monitored more closely.

Really pleasant place the staff were great and very respectful Fantastic breakfast with plenty of choice

The meals in the restaurant are a little On the expensive side however they are very nice

Very attentive staff, good breakfast and dinner. Room spacious and clean but housekeeping team could pay more attention to details (thick dust on the top of the chest of drawer which was not noticed during our 4 days stay). It was not a problem for us though. Hotel in a lovely location but in a need of updating (some areas).

I went to use the pool, but the area was quite dated and because of that, it did not seem that clean to me. I did not swim (which was disappointing) as I noticed on the edges of the pool black, moldlike substance which could have been a black algae which is a type of bacteria. This is just observation and of course I was not sure what that was. It just put me off getting into the pool as I did not want to risk skin problems. I would advise the hotel management to check what that substance could be.
