"So quaint and cosy - fabulous property. The dining room is just lovely with a nice big garden - weather inclement so couldn’t use it but it’s lovely."

The pub is in the high street so shops and restaurants within easy reach. Our room was a good size with a bath and a shower, breakfast was excellent, staff were helpful.

Floorboards were very creaky in the room which didn't really bother us, but would have been very noisy for anyone below.

Lovely pub, comfortable room with character. Great breakfast and good environment for a meal on the night we stayed. Would definitely stay again.

We struggled to find the carpark even with the postcode provided by the host.

Centrally located in nice town of Oakham close to restaurants shops and other pubs. Rooms are clean ,well Appointed and comfortable. Very reasonable nightly rate included a well cooked and plentiful breakfast. Would recommend

Our room at the front of the building overlooks the high street and traffic noise is quite high. So if you’re a light sleeper request a room at the back
