Corner House Inn by Greene King Inns

Room was clean and spacious.

Breakfast let it down a bit. Mushrooms weren’t cooked properly and sausages both meat and meat free weren’t very nice.

Location was perfect because of work. Overall good value. Room was clean and comfortable been upgraded since I last stayed even USBs in the sockets.

Purely down to traffic noise even with the window shut and the inner window closed there was a lot of traffic noise.

Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent service in the restaurant and the food and drinks reasonably priced and very tasty.

The bed was comfortable and good size room with lots of storage. Iron and ironing board in the room which is good

The bar area had a strange smell and it desperately needs refurbishing both inside and out. The carpets are all stained The breakfast seemed to be made up of cheap sausage and beans but to be honest I wouldn't have enjoyed it otherwise due to the odour in lounge area. Our bedroom wardrobe obviously wasn't checked as there was an empty bottle of lucozade left in there. One of our bedroom windows had curtains that didn't even cover the window and net curtains are as old as the hills. I was amazed they had usb ports Sadly I wouldn't recommend this place except for the comfy bed and the staff
