Great communication with hotel pre visit, as coming from North America.
Located beside the tidal river, close to Lancaster castle, pub downstairs (convenient for supper), and staff helpful the next day with storing luggage. No complaints
Nothing.

The location and the room itself was fine
It was a pub, rather than a hotel, as it was a year ago. The staff tried to be helpful but had not all received full training.

Comfy room. Neat.
We booked a room with a view and our room had a view of a roof. The exit/entrance door downstairs has a very loud bang when people come in and out. We could hear the bang in our room. Not great because it is the door people use when the pub is closed so the bang goes on till late.
