Location and the size of the rooms
We were a group of 10, some of them were staying in the old rooms and some were quite small. But some were already renovated.

For this visit, we had room 111 which was brilliant. A lovely view over the street with highly effective soundproofed double glazing, and a stunning big bathroom. Location absolutely superb. Welcome drinks appreciated, and the bistro with outside seating is nice. There's a nice wee pool area if you fancy a dip, but its COLD !
Staff were good, if a little impersonal and breakfast was a bit chaotic (we returned 10 days later and these aspects were much better). Our only issue was with the room was with the soundproofing from the room above, where it sounded like a herd of elephants were having a party.

Very central, staff pleasant, lovely breakfast place opposite
Booking was for twin room.as travelling with work colleague hotel.did not resolve but swapped with others in our group, allocated double, room was very small and dated, also room.at front of hotel is extremely noisy. Take earplugs as noise didnt stop til 4am on 2 nights out of the three making sleep impossible, for this reason would not stay here again.
