Friendly staff, clean room, cute good little breakfast, comfy bed. (Twin)

The festival took over the town! Which was cool, but we had to buy tickets to the festival to eat! Haha. Location was good and ok. Shower was not great, but strong pressure.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The best part was the location. My family stayed for the medieval fair and the walk between was maybe 5 minutes. Very quick and convenient!

The breakfast had limited options and was not very substantial.

I stayed in a quarto casal superior com varanda. The hotel is close to the historic centre and local buses. Spacious room, desk, chairs, table, luggage rack, enough storage, minibar, kettle and tea/coffee. Air conditioning worked well and quickly. My room was on a corner, dual aspect, the balcony also on two sides. View on one side was the back of the stadium, on the other up a road to the lawn in front of the law courts. Wifi in the room worked, though often only two bars out of three. Breakfast is served in a large bright room; from the windows at one end there is a view up to the castle. It was a pretty basic buffet.

If arriving by public transport note that the hotel is 1.6km from the Rede Expressos coach stop and 1.2km from the railway station. No room safe. Curtains do not keep out the dawn light. I could hear conversations in the neighbouring room. Wifi did not work in the breakfast room.

Amazing location, great hotel, brilliant room and very good value

The shower was a bit old but worked fine. Breakfast was basic but great value for the price.
