The location of the Old Weir Lodge was perfect. A quick 10-minute walk to the heart of downtown Killarney and right next door to the Killarney National Park. You are in the heart of the area yet quiet.
The breakfast was excellent. Very good assortment of breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt on the buffet and a good choice of hot options you are able to choose from the menu. Staff was super friendly, truly cared for you.
Niall is absolutely wonderful. He welcomed us on our arrival and made us feel at home.
As a typical American I would have liked to have air conditioning in the room. When making our reservations we asked about AC and they replied they didn't have it but would make sure we had a fan in our room and the fan was in our room upon arrival!

I paid for 2 days but they don’t even bother to change bedsheets, towels or replace tea stuff etc on second day when i left message to service my room.
Pathetic.
