Westgrove Hotel

Staff were lovely, room was comfortable.

Food in the bar was fine. Very expensive for what you actually get, food took about 35 minutes and it came out wrong. Unfortunately we were in a rush so didn’t have another 35 minutes to wait for them to fix the issue.

The Steam room was absolutely class, pool and jacuzzi lovely too. Very impressed with it and friendly staff with complimentary towels provided. Great location with a short walk to the village. I liked the vending machines on the landings providing drinks and snacks. The staff left me a small 3 dessert selection for my birthday too. Nice hotel and good value. Had great fun with Clane locals.

The Breakfast was from 7am to 10.30, we arrived down at 9am. The food had been sitting on hot plates for a while, the cooked food was dry and hard. I actually didn't eat it, I had cereal and coffee instead. There was a jack hammer going outside at 9am Monday morning too, I know that's not the hotel but the windows didn't really keep out much noise. The shower was only just about warm but nice pressure. The wallpaper behind the bed was starting to peel so little bit of facilties management required in my opinion.

All good bar breakfast

I felt breakfast could be of better quality

Friendly staff and clean hotel

The rooms are not air conditioned and while I knew this from a previous stay I think the hotel should at the very least have mini fridges in the rooms so guest can enjoy chilled drinks in this day and age - rooms uncomfortably warm
