Mercure Amiens Cathédrale

Good location. Comfortable. Restaurant downstairs was reasonable.

We had a plumbing issue while there. We were moved to a different room after a night.

The inhouse restaurant was not a great experience hard to rate food above 4/10

Car parking for the hotel is an issue. The staff clearly explained the location of the nearest car park which was fine. However it did take a bit of walking with a suitcase. Of benefit would better description of how to exit the car park on foot, how to get to the park on foot and how to drive out upon departure (as i found it took some investigation to work out the entry/exit routes which I needed to do before walking to the car with luggage upon departure). Additionally, some on street temporary parking space would be beneficial to unload luggage - we ended up parking in the bus stop across the road and predictably had to move the car as a bus arrived - before we were able to check in......
