Hotel Design Sorbonne

Location, cleanliness, staff, noise levels - all excellent

Bed was very small and room was also on the small side

Stylish, clean, perfectly located

None

The location is unbeatable, on a quiet street near the Sorbonne. There are restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily. The staff is also very friendly and spoke English, which we appreciated as we are tourists.

The biggest issue was the shower for us. It had no shower curtain or door (by design it appears), and the shower was a handheld sprayer. If you tried to stand under the shower and point the water straight ahead (as in a normal shower), the water would spray right out of the door. So you'd either have to hold the shower head, point it at a wall, or turn off the water to avoid getting everything wet. Feels like an oversight for a hotel at this price.

Location

Small dark room, poorly designed layout. Thin walls.
