Living Hotel Großer Kurfürst

Location was great- right across the street from a train station. Room was clean, and spacious. Small fitness center- but just right for a nice run. I didn't get to use the sauna but it seemed like others utilized it. Check in was easy. It was great to check in luggage in the morning. Nice staff. They have a decent bar with reasonably priced menus.

Very clean, comfortable beds and bathroom, friendly, helpful staff, although it was extra, nice breakfast. Also, had delicious dinner at the connected restaurant, which was a bonus.

This hotel is located in a central part of Berlin, within walking distance of major attractions and has great public transport links to points of interest further out. From the moment we walked in, we were surprised at just how good it was. Aesthetically, the style is not for everyone, as with its ostensibly "nouveau riche" appearance it can come off as tasteless. However, it certainly is luxurious and very well looked after. I cannot remember when was the last time that we stayed at such a clean and nice hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite, the free sauna and plunge were lovely too. We didn't try the hotel breakfast and had no time to properly check out the gym, but it is fantastic to have so many options and facilities.

There are no negatives, we loved our stay here so much! The only way this could have been even more luxurious and amazing is if there was a swimming pool.
