Mercure Hotel Berlin Tempelhof

We were very surprised how large the room was. It was bright and the window could be opened. The location of the hotel was superb. Moments from the U-Bahn at Bodenstrasse. There were lots of lovely cafes nearby (Gorilla, La Maison) and we were only five minutes walk from Tempelhof. The hotel is located in great neighbourhood, not touristy but hardly for public transport access to the tourist hubs in the city. I would definitely stay again. We opted not to have cleaning while we were there but I was able to ask the staff for towels when I needed more.

Our room faced a depot for the city refuse lorries and they were coming in and out from 6am so it was noisy. Complimentary earplugs would have been appreciated. The pillows were not the most comfortable and there were handprints along the wall behind the bed and on the headboard. The shower screen did not meet the bath so water leaked from the gap on to the floor every time we showered and had to be mopped up.

Spacious room, clean, well located, helpful staff, easy check in and out.

Noisy ventilator, too warm duvets for the summer season. But overall it was a nice and comfortable stay.

Comfortable beds, very quiet, big window you could open. Spacious room. Electronic check in before arrival. Near a metro station .

The neighborhood at night is a little bit scary for a woman walking alone I think, though a few streets away you find cafes and bars. If you come from the metro station you have to walk just for a minute. I would like a socket near the bed. Also they changed 4,5 euros for a large bottle of water, although they had coffee and tee on the house.

It was just OK. Bar service was friendly and efficient

House keeping was pretty poor. Coffee cup left for 48+ hours, clothes that fell onto the floor accidentally just left there. Bathroom dusty. Carpet not hoovered under the chair.
