Badehotel Salina Maris – Wellness & Vintage

We stayed at Badehotel Salina Maris for just one night before continuing our journey to Bormio, and left wishing we had planned a little more time there. The hotel has a wonderfully cozy feel, somewhere between rustic Alpine charm and a small boutique retreat. We especially loved our room on the top floor, with the sleeping area tucked away on a mezzanine. It felt spacious, characterful and just a little different from the usual hotel room. The saltwater swimming pool and spa are not large, but that was part of the appeal for us: calm, quiet, beautifully clean and exactly what we needed after a day of travelling. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was fresh, tasty and very good. A warm, unpretentious place with character, the kind of hotel that makes you think, we should have stayed another night. We would happily return.

The spa was delightful, relaxing, and impeccably clean, really enjoyed it. The hotel is very thoughtfully designed and equipped with a lot of attention to every detail, very thoughtfully decorated, the room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The pick up transfer at the train station was very helpful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is very peaceful and quiet.

The hotel is situated going uphill from the station and the only option for dinner would be getting a transfer from the hotel and back, which is kindly provided at no cost, or cooking your dinner yourself using the little kitchenette.
