Beautiful French inspired boutique hotel. Big rooms. Staff were exceptional. The GM was onsite and made himself available to guests. Lots of little extra points that made the stay unforgettable. Complimentary sorbet around the pool, afternoon tea twice a week. Live music most days. Staff everywhere ready to offer any assistance they could. Loved our stay here. We would not hesitate to return.

This property was voted the best boutique hotel in Asia, and with good reason. It is utterly unique, calm, and restful.

Elegant architecture and pleasant airy spaces in pleasant gardens. Good pool

The beach is very average in front of the hotel and the area of the town it is located in is over developed and tacky. The hotel itself is a pleasant oasis in well kept gardens right on the beach but we had problems with the overall organisation - multiple automated duplicated communications. A policy that 100% of the booking must be paid upfront months before our trip. Very inflexible customer attitudes when a requested change would actually have resulted in more revenue for the hotel. Room not being serviced until late afternoon most days. And we could have done without the live music “enlivening” the bar
