Hotel am Berg

Very large clean and bright room.

This hotel was truly a pleasure to stay at. Looking like a small castle and full of spacious rooms decorated in quaint, vintage decor, the hotel had such a unique charm that we absolutely loved staying here on our short trip to Frankfurt. The room was large, clean and comfy. We had a delightful little balcony and a lovely en-suite. Staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. Location of the hotel was perfect for commuting, just a five minute walk to a metro station and lots of local bus stops nearby, there were also a number of restaurant options and a small supermarket close by.

The only slight let down was that the room didn't come with any tea or coffee making facility - but honestly this was minor and not something we would knock stars/rating off for.

The hotel building is quite old, and I enjoy staying in places with history and character. The location is also great — cafés, restaurants, markets, and the train station are all nearby. The rooms are clean and have their own charm. The staff is friendly and welcoming UPD. I got a call from the hotel manager after all this situation and we had a nice conversation. Nice to know that hotel care about its reputation and guests experience.

Early morning I went out for breakfast, and when I returned, I was shocked to find that my room had already been cleaned and all of my belongings were gone. Later, I discovered that my things had been taken to the reception. Apparently, the hotel staff assumed that I had already checked out, which is why they entered and cleaned the room. I asked what made them think I had left — all my luggage was still in the room, and my car was parked right outside the main entrance. They also had all of my personal information, including my phone number and license plate. Even if they believed I had left something behind, no one tried to contact me to confirm. This wasn’t my first stay at the hotel, but it will likely be the last.
