This was an older hotel that was full of charm. The room was clean and for me the most part comfortable. The breakfast was good and worth the price. Depending on the public transport you are seeking, it can be about a 10 minute walk or so. People with mobility issues may want to book a hotel closer to the metro.

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was the air conditioning. While it did have it, it was non functioning, the control on the wall would say it was on, the vent on the unit would open, but no air would come out. The biggest reason we look for air conditioning in the spring and fall time is to at least have circulating air. Most hotels have windows you can open at the cost of street noises which affects your sleep, but this hotel did not have windows that would open. We did learn a valuable lesson which I hope other travelers can benefit from, do not prepay for any hotels breakfast through booking.com. We did and lost our last day's breakfast because the only train that would get us to our destination left very early in the morning. We asked the hotel for a refund and they told us that since we booked it through booking.com, it was not refundable. Had we paid for the breakfast at the hotel, we could have gotten our money back.

Lovely old fashioned hotel very comfortable bed was bit hard but other than that it was fine
