Hotel Ještěd

Sofern das Wetter mitspielt, ist der Aufenthalt ein Erlebnis. Man fühlt sich wie in einem Raumschiff der 70er Jahre. Die Qualität von Frühstück und Abendessen war hervorragend.

Wir haben nurmehr ein normales Zimmer und Gemeinschaftsbadezimmer bekommen, da sonst alles ausgebucht war.

Exceptional views, great selection of food at breakfast and the location being at the top of the mountain

Only missing thing would be to provide a kettle with some complimentary tea/coffee in the room and perhaps supply bath robes with the slippers as the shower facilities are shared so walking to and from room regularly it would be nice to have but this didn’t ruin the stay.

A very good view of the city from above. A good variety of espresso capsules in the room. 2 free water and soda bottles. A quiet room. A big room.

While the location is great for viewing the city, you don't need to spend the night here in order to see the views. The hotel is quite expensive but it doesn't feel like everything was taken into consideration. For example - in our suite, the shower wasn't high enough for me, and I'm just 175 cm high. If you're 180 cm high, your head will hit the ceilings, and if you try to bring the shower head up, the water will just stop. There was also a strange odor in the lobby. The food was nice, but again, you don't need to sleep here in order to eat. Our room had 4 beds, but for some reason we were forced to order 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 kids. The elevator is extremely small so if you bring 2 big suitcases, you'll have no room for yourself. The check in wad tedious and took 15 minutes to complete. We didn't think it was worth the money.

The location of the hotel is just stunning. From the room you get a wonderful view over the area.

The hotel itself, restaurant area, rooms were really old and would need an update in line with today's standards.
