Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres Cancun, Adult All-Inclusive

We loved the amount of food and drink options, several different bars and restaurants, even a super good coffee shop and foodtruck. The quality of food and the variety of options was amazing, it always looked stunning and was delicious. Some of the best food we had during our holiday throughout all of Mexico. The hotel and rooms are very stylish and super clean. We appreciated the staff always kept us fully supplied of fresh towels, plenty of water, toilet paper etc. They would often drop by to ask if we even needed more. The staff is super friendly and helpfull and always went out of their way to accomodate us and treat us like royalty while also making us feel at gome at the same time. They offered great suggestions and always helped us if we wanted to try something off menu. The reception desk was helpful with accomodating our transfers and also helping arrange a taxi or ferry tickets when we did a daytrip. There are a lot of fun activities being organised daily as well and its easy to find out about them, join or cancel. The hotel also has two ATMs which we didnt see initially as they are a bit hidden in a room. The hotel itself is quite nice, the food is really tasty and the staff, Jonatan, Ivan, Pablo and in particular Josias treated us like royalty while making us feel at home at the same time.

Overpriced Golf Carts: The hotel charges an exorbitant $180/day to rent a golf cart—a massive markup over already steep island rates. Poor Transportation: No hotel shuttle exists. Taxis are rundown, card payments aren’t accepted, and drivers rarely have change for 500-peso notes, requiring constant cash management. Broken Elevator: One elevator was out of service for at least three days. Repetitive Food: Menus are static with very limited dessert options; after three to four days, variety runs out. Uncleaned Beach: Sargassum washed ashore after storms and was never cleared, leaving an unsightly, foul-smelling mess that attracted insects. Misleading Boat Transfer: The advertised private boat transfer was unavailable both ways. Instead, we were put in a cramped, beaten-down taxi and given standard ferry vouchers rather than the luxury transit expected. No Cash Change for Tips: Front desk repeatedly refused or failed to break 500-peso bills for tipping, unhelpfully telling us to ask waiters instead. With no nearby shops, we had to waste time and taxi(who also cant take 500 peso bills) fares going into town just to get change. This was extremely annoying and unacceptable. Hidden Checkout Fee: A surprise 5% service charge was added to the final bill without prior disclosure—unacceptable for a luxury all-inclusive property.

L hôtel en général , l équipe réception et restaurant ( Bravo au chef Carlos et son team en cuisine , des plats d une finesse incroyables et de merveilleux chocolatine et beignet de la boulangerie fait maison )

Me encantó este pedazo de paraíso en Isla Mujeres el ambiente, el servicio, la comida. Definitivamente superó mis expectativas
