Hotel Ristorante Alcide

Location good, 5 mins walk to town centre - Room excellent, very light, lots of space & 2 bathrooms - Breakfast was very good, lots of choice.

The restaurant could have had a proper written English menu, instead of trying to see it on the phone. The food was very good.

We only stayed one night, but the staff were helpful, rooms were clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. Benjamin at the front desk was AMAZING! My husband hurt his knee and could barely walk. We struggled to find taxis from the hospital to the hotel and then to the train station. He went above and beyond to find us a driver who could rescue us. He was also very hospitable, helping us find a nearby atm, providing water bottles, and turning on the tv in the lobby for our kids. I can’t thank him enough.

This hotel has a very good restaurant and the staff in there were very friendly. We didn't have breakfast. Check-out at reception was a very helpful and efficient man.

Reception on arrival. Check-in was slow and not at all welcoming. We arrived after a long drive and were made to feel most unwelcome - maybe it was a language difficulty or unsmiling face!
