The hotel is in the perfect location, right on the lake, with a private “beach” area and direct access to the water. The entire staff, from the elegant and attentive manager to the housekeeping team, are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which was such a lovely surprise. We had a wonderful stay!

The location! The hotel is beautiful, right on the lake Maggiore with two restaurants, Botanical garden, boat deck and event space
It is a beautiful property with long history, but it misses some refined touches. Staff is not always attentive and consistent.
Disadvantage is that there is no restaurant in walking distance. You need to go by car, the road is too dangerous to walk (tunnels on both sides).
During our stay there were two weddings, beautiful spot for parties
