The location was fabulous! Also the balcony had a nice veiw of the mountains. Honestly the best air conditioning in Europe .

From the first day to the last day the room smelled like cat litter. No matter how much you air out the room that is all you smell. Also the bed were beyond uncomfortable.

It was around the corner from the main train station Firenze SMN.

I had heavy bags. I needed to take them with me up the lift in the building across from the hotel to check into my room. Then I had to bring them all downstairs once more and take them up in the second lift in the next building. It would have been easier if there was someplace to leave my bags for the 20 minutes for the checking in process. Also, I don’t mind the lift in itself, but there were other guests that refused to close the doors/gates properly and when that happens the elevators do not operate. So I’m stuck on a different floor with lots of baggage and there’s no choice but to wait or to tote it all up the five flights of stairs or to leave my bags unattended and try to brig the lift down. It would help if they upgraded the doors to ensure that these are self-closing to prevent this issue.

Location and responsive staff

The elevator is iffy, doors stuck closed twice, had to carry suitcases to the 4th floor by the stairs. Shower stall is tiny even for me (5 foot tall)

Clean and easy to get to

The shower was very very small. Toiletries were minimal. Wasn’t able to get on WiFi. Refrigerator was not cold enough. I put a water can inside for a few hours and it was room temp. No AC and no fan.
