SOL by Meliá Marbella Estepona - Atalaya Park

- Our suite with sea view, and a big trace in two sides was spacious and the view was spectacular. I've never been to such a nice hotel room. - The access to beach, multiple outdoor pools, playground for kids, different bars and restaurants were also available. - We booked the suite with all meals and the buffet kept us satisfied all the time.

- I think there are a few things in the restaurant which they can improve, even though they were not big issues. Sometimes the clean glasses available had a bad smell which is common when you wash all dishes and glasses together and some of them have food like eggs. It's a common issue in lots of hotels and restaurants. Some food items could have been of higher quality if treated a bit better. Sometimes they were not fresh or the recipe could be improved. - I expected tap water to be available for everybody. I understand that they make money on bottled water but it is just a basic when you book "all meals included". - I expected a bit warmer pool water but I think it's not in their hand for outdoor pools.

Food and room with view was great

Chainsaw by the pool mid morning was bad planning. Never seen a pool area clear so fast. Car park charge a bit high and you had to figure out payment. Better if included with booking

Swimming pool and quantity of sunbeds and umbrellas Breakfast

Glass sliding windows on balcony jammed every time they were closed and staff had to open them. Very poor quality thin bathroom towels. Only drinking water left in the room was 2 small bottles on the first night Breakfast okay but the meal included in the evening was almost the same as breakfast. Very long walk to the bedroom. Fortunately, adjoining bedroom was vacant until the last night as the sound level coming from the room prevented me sleeping.
