In house restaurant had one waiter for ten tables and he was unable to multi-task! Added things to our bill that we didn't have and after pointing it out to him he presented same incorrect bill a second time. Food was not served at proper temperature as well. Would never eat there again!

We had 2 rooms booked. One was facing the vinegresca and river and had lots of windows looking both to the river and a small one looking into the courtyard. We had drinks in the courtyard each night and those were really excellent value, although the menu was limited. The pool area was super awith lovely views although we didn’t go into the pool. Location is superb.

Breakfast was hectic. That little kitchen cannot cater for more than 4 people and the machines had the staff constantly running to replenish them. There was one receptionist on duty Friday 25 overnight who was really friendly and helpful, but the rest of the staff were not very happy. They took away from our overall experience. No instructions how to enter the car park, slow to serve drinks, and tend to breakfast, and generally not very happy. My parents had an ant infestation and had to move from their bright river facing room to a dark room with a tiny little prison cell like window. That was disappointing.

The room was very clean, and the staff responded very quickly whenever there was an issue. The service was excellent, and the breakfast, ordered from a small menu, was always fresh and delicious. The location is very convenient, close to the city center, the train station, and the L3 bus stop, which provides easy access to Valdelagrana Beach.

The shower "door" seal was not working properly, so we had to be careful not to flood the bathroom floor. Although the wardrobe was large, it had no shelves, so we had to keep most of our belongings in our suitcases. It would also be helpful if the reception provided information about local bus routes, as public transport is not shown on Google Maps, making it difficult for visitors to get around the area.

Some real budget hotel energy in simple places knocked the whole experience down : charging for pool towels at reception instead of just having upstairs and charging two after breakfasts when all we managed to eat was an egg and a brown banana. Don’t eat here. But sleeping was fine.
