Friendly staff, clean well equipped too. And excellent roof garden

A little pricey but probably good value

Poor choice of breakfast

Staff was very friendly allowing us to check in early due to long, international journey. Room was a smaller than we're used to to, but cleanliness made up for it (and the beach was close).

Price was a bit steep for the size of the room.

Wonderful convenient location on the marina. Quiet hotel. Within walking distance of main city centre and all attractions. Within 2 minute walk of beach. Plenty of bars/restaurants on the same street. Facilitated a very late arrival (2a.m.)

No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Could get tea from bar and bring to room but there was a charge. Limited toiletries for 2 people. Frosted glass wall between bedroom and bathroom. No insulation so everything could be heard. Clothes closets were at shoulder height so unless you stood on a chair you couldn't reach clothes hangars. Corner of closet was at shoulder height so if you stood up quickly you were in danger of getting a knock from sharp corner. No phone in room to contact reception in case of emergency. You would need to locate the phone number and dial from your own phone and be at the mercy of someone there to answer phone. Staff not inclined to engage in conversation. Engaging in conversation (even if only to ask have you had a good day / did you go anywhere interesting today) makes for a much more personal visit.
