Very quiet, clean and comfortable

A lovely building in the centre of town.
The bar wasn't being used and could have been a lovely bar. Also a conservatory room was used as storage and the doors were left open so it looked a bit scruffy.

The hotel was conveniently located near the town centre. The staff were pleasant. Breakfast was basic but everything was good. The bed was reasonably comfortable.
I had booked a double room with a double bed, but was given a twin room with two singles. The bedroom window wouldn't close so there was quite a lot of traffic noise during the night. The bed was very high.
