Oceny i recenzje
100% sprawdzonych opinii9 / 10Wyjątkowy·paź 2026
We came for the Peak District, not for a grand hotel. Makeney Hall turned out to be a bargain: a good-sized room, comfortable, and the softest beds of the trip. That last part is not nothing. After a run of one-night stops, a bed you actually sink into earns its keep.
We did not eat there, so I will not pretend to know the kitchen. Staff were fine and unmemorable, which is the correct setting for a place like this. You are not here for the front desk.
The grounds are the point. Amazing, especially if you have a dog or you like to walk. Easy in, easy out, parking no drama. Two nights was the right amount of time.

Property is beautiful in lovely surroundings
Our room was a lovely room but if they spent £100 on it would have been fresher looking. Doesn’t take much to go round bathroom tiles with a grout pen.
