Holiday Inn Slough Windsor by IHG

What I liked most about the hotel was its location, as it was close to the city centre and plenty of restaurants. The cost per night was reasonable and good value for money. Check-out was easy, and the late check-out at 12 noon was definitely a bonus! It meant we didn’t have to wake up early or rush to get ready before leaving. 😊

What I didn’t like about the hotel was that it looked quite outdated, and I think some renovation work and improvements are needed. The shower pressure wasn’t the best, and there were visible stains on the carpet, which really needs replacing. The walls could also do with a fresh coat of paint, and the TV would benefit from an upgrade. Overall, the hotel has a great location, but a few updates and improvements would make the stay much more enjoyable.

Friendly staff nice stay

All good

It was comfortable, the beds were comfy and cozy. The breakfast was exceptional, good range of choice and well stocked, staff were consistently stocking up. The staff were kind and friendly.

The room was a little dated, there was evidence of damp in the room. One of the lights flickered inside the room. There was an access cupboard under the sink with a loose door that fell off when nudged slightly.

Location was ideal for our visit to Windsor and beds were comfy. We had stayed here a few years ago, so was happy to rebook.

Our television went bang at 9pm and the sockets in that part of the room tripped too so we were unable to charge devices. The bedside lights didn’t work for the stay so we were unable to have low lighting on, just the main bright light. The shower flooded the bathroom floor and my son had left his PJs on the floor to put on after his shower - they were soaked so unwearable. The door had tape around it as if something had previously happened in the room which wasn’t pleasant. Breakfast ok, but overall we were pleased our stay was only one night. Staff advised they would email regarding a discount for a future stay but haven’t received anything…
