Warm .comfortable, pleasant staff, nice grounds & plenty of parking.
Excellent breakfast.
Choices on the Evening menu in restaurant were restrictive. Tv in our room was past its best.

good location, lovely grounds. good welcome on arrival. happy with room and the bar/lounge area. staff friendly and attentive. would also recommend the flying monk cafe for breakfast and the Neeld Arms pub for evening meals. both are within a 10 minute drive of the hotel.
the radiator did not come on until late at night so it was cold in the evening and boiling at night. At our evening meal we were asked to wait over an hour after booking a slot with the result that we ate very late. the following night we ate elsewhere. At breakfast it was very busy so we were seated at the bar. again we pre booked a time slot. The service was very slow. the food was good though.

The location was great, easily accessible and peaceful. The room was well laid out and comfortable with lovely views out over the grounds.
The pillows need revamping as found them quite flat

Nice to have a power shower which lived up to his name. 🙂
Failure to deliver breakfast ordered the night before.
Although staff were aware I wouldn't be receiving, failed to inform me. Bit poor tbh.
