Loved our room the Henry V111 even though we had asked for room 2 when booking. The food was wonderful the chef and his team nailed it. The bar staff were pleasant but need more training. Cocktails were poorly executed and staff unaware of drinks stocked at the bar. Nothing that better training couldnt put right. Housekeeping lady and our jolly waitress on breakfast service on friday morning need a special mention. Thank you ladies. Looking forward to our next stay.
Spiral stairs are terrifying but its a listed building so installing a lift is impossible

Generally the interior even in the more modern bit could do with some TLC (the building is hundreds of years old and presumably grade listed)

in the centre of Glastonbury, parking in car park at the back of hotel, payment required during the day.
Staff were friendly, room was clean.
We had king Henry 8 room, up two flights of circular stairs (some felt a bit dodgy).
Four poster bed in room, room was 'dark', saw the room next door, and that was light and airy.
new chef had started in the morning and couldn't do an omelette. General manager apologised.
I ended up with the vegan breakfast as there was no vegetarian breakfast. the oil the chef used made it inedible.
it has made us think about booking a room with a breakfast again.
