Lamartine Hotel - Istanbul

Location, staff, clean modern room

Very small room

We loved the location - close to Taksim Square and public transport. The staff were very welcoming and always tried hard to please. We really appreciated this. Their English wasnt great so we had some mis-communication but this was easily resolved. We liked the place and would recommend the location and service.

Breakfast is comprehensive and starts early, however, its a strange mix of foods. I'm sure there is something suitable for everyone.

This was our second stay at La Martine Hotel, and once again, everything was exceptional. The location is absolutely perfect, especially for exploring Taksim and Istanbul. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of choices. We were also very impressed by the reception staff ,everyone was extremely kind, polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the late check-out, which made our departure much more comfortable and stress-free. Room service by the Papilon was the best, very quick and safe Overall, we had another wonderful experience and would happily stay at La Martine Hotel again. A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant and memorable! Highly recommended! ❤️

The reception staff, especially the bellhop (I forgot his name!) They were all really kind, smiley and friendly. It was very clean.

No WiFi in the room, and also design flaws - eg. no space to hang wet bath towels, no coat hooks and only 4 hangers for 2 people. No space for luggage. Breakfast items were a bit poor quality and would be nice to have some choice of teas and coffees, fresh juice
