Room was lovely, I did not let them know in advance that I had mobility issues but the staff were very helpful,
Lack of a lift to the top floor but it is a very old building.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Lovely castle and grounds.
Breakfast was nice but over priced, at £19.50 each, which was more than our dinner the night before.

The breakfast was good, and when cooked fresh the cooked breakfast was good. I don’t, however, like buffet breakfasts as the bacon goes hard. The staff were unfailingly helpful and willing to try their best to meet every request. They were always smiling and pleasant.
Housekeeping didn’t arrive until 5pm one day.

Beautiful location and gorgeous building and grounds
Room wasn't ready for check in. Small TV in our lounge area kept breaking up, the large TV in the bedroom didn't have a remote so we couldn't work it and despite reporting we never got a response. Meal in Vavasour restaurant, the steak was inedible at £34 for a rump steak we expected better.Buffet breakfast hot items were luke warm
