Beautiful building, characterful and well maintained. Grounds are being done by robo mower so fairly well kept. Easy parking, secure for motorcycles right next to bungalow. Great, attentive staff. Food ok but nothing special. Soggy veggies. But price was very reasonable for two courses. Breakfast, fruit, yoghurt and breads but not much else. Comfy bed.
Bungalows are showing their age. The rain shower hits the bar holding the glass panel in place rendering it useless. Using the smaller head ends up flooding the bathroom floor. Lots of lint and dust on the floor. Desk hadn’t been dusted for months. Lots of long hairs on floor especially in bathroom and we have short hair!!! Blood stain on one pillow. TV remote didn’t work.

This was an imposing property with nice grounds in a quiet location only 10 minutes from the centre of town. The room was comfortable with a large bed.
The room 106 was noisy being situated right over the kitchen where the extractor fan stayed on until after service finished. The doors squeaked loudly on the nearby bedrooms. There were no tea and coffee making facilités and no kettle.

restaurant in the cellar had a nice ambience and the food was quite good.
Poor quality towels and the bed had a rubber lined mattress cover which made it very hot. The Orangerie (where our bedroom was) was very tired looking with old furniture. The extractor fan did not work in the bathroom. The breakfast was satisfactory only.
