Everything, the hotel ismagnificent beautifully decorated clean and welcoming The staff were friendly professional and cheerful throughout our room was excellent well appointed comfortable with lots of nice little touches. Woukd highly recommend to anyone who wants to feel pampered It is situated close to all that Edinburgh has to offer and has great views ftom many of its rooms The food is wnderful and restaurant Grand Cafe is a spectacular place A first class hotel in every aspect

They were friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay and it was absolutely fantastic

The location was perfect a 2 minute walk from Waverley train station. The room was spacious and clean with a good bathroom and shower. The bed was very comfortable and a good size.Breakfast was first class as was the service. We also had afternoon tea in the hotel which was delicious. The bar area was also very good.

A small thing, there needs to be a couple of clothes hooks when you come out of the shower to hang your clothes and/or towel on . There are hooks on the back of the door which are too far away.

The location is excellent.

The room entrance needed better cleaning and maintenance. Smells bad and have a big stain, inside the windows didn’t close properly.
