The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and the bed was comfy.

Nice location. Peaceful.
The major thing was that the light on the smoke alarm in our room flashed every 40 seconds continuously, fine during the day but stopped us getting to sleep. Reported it after our first night sod a staff member stuck some tape over the part that was flashing but didn't fix the problem. Didn't feel like we'd had a weekend away when we'd had hardly any sleep over the 2 nights. This wasn't helped by the fact that we couldn't turn off the heated towel rail so it was way too hot.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
The shower tray had mould all around the bottom.
The floor in the room was dirty and didn't appear to have been hoovered for some time.
The wifi was dreadful.
There was no water in the room, nor was their a fridge, which was disappointing.
Arriving at night, it was quite difficult to find as there was no sign with lights to identify the hotel from the access road.
