New Place

Great setting and lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful.

Had to change rooms as first one was not up to standard. Staff happy to arrange.

Fantastic food as usual, for ease they have now combined the bar and restaurant menus which is brilliant - i don't want a burger but my daughter declared it the best ever! Having stayed in a few hotels in other places, i realise that the New Place Hotel is country miles better than the rest. If you.are a foodiie you will love it here. It is also very easy to feel at home at the new place , when you stay there it becomes your place.

The breakfasts tick the box well enough but they don't quite wow like the dinners.

I have stayed here Many Times for Leisure and Business... The Standard is Excellent, The Staff All Very Approachable Helpfull and Happy to Help. I Also have had Milestone Birthday Celebration Weekends Here , My Mum's Post Funeral Celebration of Life - Many Many People Stayed At The Hotel for this and the Room , Food and Presentation where we had the Celebration eax Exceptional. And I have just Pre Booked for My Retirement Weekend Celebration Early Next Year which will be attended by 20 + Close Family and Friends 🧡 and Very Much Looking Forward to It ... During My Recent stay ALL The Staff were Very Efficient , Friendly and Amazingly Helpful ... All The Reception Staff , Several Room Change Staff one of which went above and beyond ,,, Debbie from Housekeeping ... The Maintenance Man who helped when I had an issue with my Door Lock and Extremely Pleasant when I saw him again the next day and a Young Lady who I think is called Sophie who was carrying a VERY Heavy Replacement Water Container for The Spa Area . This Hotel To Me Deserves Every Accolade it Receives. Cannot wait to Return .

The Fact that I was Charged for Breakfast when I Specifically Didn't Want It , Book It or Need it ... That Error was Booking.com Fault...

The grounds and main house were beautiful. Pool area very nice. Access to grass for dog very good.

Disappointed in room size for price. Evening meal, disappointing, my husband's meal very small portions for price. Breakfast, every morning something would not be available, had to ask for a tray to carry our food to the bar area. Cheapest sliced bread and tinned fruit.
