The Highdown – Brunning and Price

Excellent location. Large comfortable room. Brilliant dog facilities and welcome pack in room. Staff were great and made our stay really enjoyable. Superb breakfast and evening meal.

The restaurant was very good with lots to choose from on the menu. The room was very nice with lots of nice little extras.

Nothing really the only one down side for me is that breakfast only starts and 7:30 am and not 7:00am , as I would have liked to leave about 7:30am

Our room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was huge with a roll top bath and rainmaker shower. The breakfasts were good and all staff were very friendly and polite.

Nothing

Location was good for Highdown garden and Teashop. The accomodation annex building itself was fairly new but layout not good for anyone with walking issues. I booked ground floor accommodation but there are three steps up and three steps down to room 6 which we were allocated so not ideal for my elderly mother. Room itself was clean and beds were comfortable, with tea and coffee plus water included. However there was no rubber mat for the shower or grab handles, although I appreciate this was not a room for disabled these items would also of been helpful for myself not just for Mother.
