Palazzo Carletti is located in the center of Montepulciano. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms have a modern flare that somehow works with the antiquity of the Palazzo. Everything is included in the cost of the room, there is a drink cart where you can make a cocktail, water, in the room you can take any of the drinks snacks, and there is an ice machine that my husband loved. Veronica was extremely nice, in the morning she had a breakfast table set for each room and wanted to ensure that we had everything that we wanted.
The Palazzo is on a main street that is busy, and it is difficult to stop a car in front of the Palazzo to offload luggage. While the parking lot is not far, it does require a walk up a short but rather steep hill. However, it s worth the effort once you get into the hotel itself.

The history, architecture, art-fresco on the ceiling of our room was spectacular. The amenities in the room & breakfast in the gathering room were beyond expectations. All that plus the personalized attention from the staff made our trip incredibly memorable & we hope to return.

This is the 18th c. stately home (palazzo) of the Carlettis, brought back to life with every modern comfort. It has 25-foot ceilings with original frescoes and stunning views.
