Spotlessly clean unit. Comfortable bed. Good shower. There were issues with the TV, but that was replaced promptly, with no hassle. Walking distance to town, with a huge range of eateries, and the lake.
Photos are a bit out of date - some show ashtrays outside the rooms - smoking is now in designated areas only.

Spacious enough for family of four. Good kitchen and wardrobe space. Great location to town centre.
Shower was a bit temperamental in getting the right temperature but once you knew where to put the dial you were right!

The motel provides accommodation very close to the centre of Wanaka, so it is an easy walk into town for food or entertainment. Despite being close to town, it was still a quiet unit.
Very dated, cheap and basic room facilities which hardly justifies the tariff charged, but I guess the price reflects it being in Wanaka and close to the town centre. In keeping with its age, I was still surprised that the windows were not double glazed, given the cold climate, and the unit (bathroom especially) seemed quite cold for our winter stay. Not really a cozy stay.
