Well set out and great location. Easy access. Spacious and clean. Great amenities

The room was nice and clean. It was good to have interconnecting rooms if we needed. The bathroom had everything you needed including all the soaps and shampoos etc - very clean. The bed was comfortable. We were close to the township and it was an easy drive to everything.

Access is off a quite side-street, not SH1. Wheelchair accessibility couldn't have been better. Spacious wet-area bathroom fully equipped with mobility aids: stool, handrails, etc. Enjoyed the outside seating, soaking up the evening sunshine with a glass in hand. Added bonus was the availability of a Tesla EV charger (very small additional charge). Staff were very friendly and offered good advice on what to do in Oamaru. We loved the walk in the nearby gardens early on Sunday morning. Everybody we passed either said hello or good morning!

The room was clean and reasonably comfortable with a good bed and 2 armchairs. There is well equipped kitchen and we had a mobility bathroom.

There was very little space for luggage which we had to spread on the floor - not satisfactory in a mobility room. There were no power points by the bed and some tissues would have been appreciated. Some sheer curtains would have been good as the room is dark once you draw the curtains for privacy. We had to ask to have the heating turned on - it was a cold day (this is the first room out of 11 we've stayed in that the management didn't have heating on prior to our artival). The worst thing was the room was really smelly from a previous resident's cooking.
