B&B Villa Clodia

WOW! What a special place! The views are out of this world! Villa Clodia definitely exceeded our expectations. Location is perfect - it is in Saturnia village and very close to everything, restaurants and everything you need are a few steps away, yet, it is on a quiet street. The villa is 2000 years old and has tons of character - you feel like you live in a castle or in a museum. Breakfast on the terrace on the top floor was the highlight! Special THANK YOU to Renzo - he was making great cappuccinos (and little tomato sandwiches!) every morning! His lovely wife was keeping the rooms clean. Another special THANK YOU is for Giancarlo - the owner of the Villa, for all his hospitality and all the bonuses he offered to make our stay unforgettable!!! The views are mesmerizing, but the people are making the place so special! Will definitely be back and stay exactly at the same location - Villa Clodia!

Historic hotel, so do not expect a modern hotel. The location is brilliant for the town and eating out but quiet. The garden and pool are really lovely. The breakfast patio has a great view and breakfast was good, normal Italian bread and cheese. I told them I was Celiac and they catered for me. What really makes this hotel is the wonderful owner and staff, the location and the setting.
