Woodlands Hotel

The location was spectacular, clean, woodland all around. Wonderful breakfast I had poached eggs avocado brilliant. Malbec last night truffle chips were superb, soup was delicious. Zero complaints comfy bed large TV conservatory felt really well looked after. Absolute deal I felt like I'd gone into woodland paradise

Rooms let down by light bulbs missing ,taps loose ,toilet loose on wall and general lack of good maintenance

Hotel was in a lovely location and in a secluded area.

The ground floor rooms were very tired looking, but clean. The bathroom left a lot to be desired as there were white splash marks on the burgundy painted walls, which looked like toothpaste splashes. The shower heads were pretty disgusting, as they needed cleaning. The sealant could have done with refreshing, and the glass doors didn't look as though they had been cleaned for a while ? There was also no carpet and a ramp in the corridor outside our room, which made it quite noisy when other guests were wheeling their suitcases.
