Hotel Central Continental

The location was absolutely perfect. Breakfast was superb. Good quality and lots of options. The staff was friendly once we arrived. Great building with beautiful architecture. The value for the money is very good.

Electrical outlet availability and location could be more accommodating, especially for older people. Beds were semi-comfortable but adequate.

Great location from train station in Interlaken.

The location was great and very convenient, with everything within walking distance, including bus stops and the train station. Our room was fine overall, and we really enjoyed the views from the balcony and windows.

The breakfast was a disappointment. The food wasn’t very appetizing and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. We tried it the first morning but didn’t go back for breakfast during the rest of our stay. The biggest issue was the shower. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent and would suddenly go from lukewarm to scorching hot on its own, regardless of how we adjusted the temperature. It was more than just a minor fluctuation; we actually got burned and had a few moments where we literally had to jump back from the water.

The location is excellent and very convenient. I also appreciated the historic character of the hotel.

The hotel needs some updating. I understand it is a historic hotel, but a few improvements would make a big difference, especially new mattresses, chairs, bed linens, and fresh paint in the rooms.
