New Balturk Hotel Izmit

Great staff great rooms clean and close to shops

Nothing

Good Hotel with comfortable and spacious Rooms. The area near the hotel is full of Restaurants

The staff. Location. Breakfast. Service.

Noting.

The room was spacious and it had a balcony - not that we used it but it meant we had good air flow into the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly

The room was very dated, dirty and had so many broken fixtures, mostly in the bathroom. We stayed two nights on separate occasions and had different rooms and they both had broken fixtures in bathrooms including the showers, shower heads, shower head holders. The shower doors didn’t close in one of the rooms. There were super noisy guests both nights and as the doors have gaps at the bottom you can hear everything. One of the rooms had a really noisy unit outside too so it was really difficult to sleep. The other night we got a call to our room at 2:30 am and 3:30 am with no explanation, which obviously meant we had broken sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone to stay in, other than to say that the men working on reception were very helpful.
