Staff, size of room, windows that open for fresh air, soundproofing

The property needs an upgrade - a bit shabby in places ie. peeling paint on bathroom door, cracked vanity... but overall not bad. The only really negative aspect of my stay was that I was asked if I needed a taxi for my early morning flight. Yes. of course! Imagine my surprise when the taxi fare was 25 euros above the fixed fare. The poor taxi driver showed me the breakdown, showing the 25 euros charged by Beauquartier for the booking. Frankly this was a shock. Paris taxis have a fixed fare from the airport and to charge 25 euros to book a taxi (and you don't know about this until you get to the airport & have to pay) is unconscionable. For this reason alone I would say don't stay at this property. This is unscrupulous behaviour and has left a bad taste for me. I travel regularly to Paris, and this is the first time this has happened. If you do stay, don't be fooled into unwittingly paying 25 euros for a call to book a taxi. Book your own taxi or Uber!

Decent location close to metro and main parts of Paris, room had decent space/room for luggage for Paris.

No aircon, so we had to keep window open which made it hard to sleep with the noise as the fan provided was old and not powerful. Lift didn’t go to our floor so we had to carry our heavy luggage by ourselves. Toilet had no window or fan so became extremely hot after showers!

Opposite Moulin Rouge Well run, efficient and nice staff

No air conditioner. Room is warm even with fan! My son had difficulty to sleep!
