Grand Hyatt Singapore

Absolutely o complaint about the Grand Hyatt in Singapore. Beautiful hotels with large quality rooms. Everything worked in the room. Breakfast was amazing. Different stations serving everything from fruit to curries, cereals to laksa. The Italian restaurant on site served some of the best pasta I’ve ever had

It is beautiful, well renovated, luxurious and the spa/ gym is wonderful. Some concierge and front desk workers made my stay exceptional by remembering me.

Sometimes staff can move so fast they lose the customer service and warmth: empathy. Buffet breakfast is mediocre and doesn’t accomodate to gluten free or diets very well. Sometimes it felt very transactional.

It is luxurious, discrete and very beautiful. The spa and gym facilities are stellar, and the concierge is very helpful and professional.

The buffet breakfast workers often made things a little difficult and took quite a while to serve also to accommodate my diet despite being a regular. I found the experience a little jarring and slow or fast paced. It was difficult to relax and enjoy my breakfast.. Also a mishap with my meal with room service where a worker entered and then suddenly left without explaining and returned 15 Minutes after. I understand there are miscommunications with order but he simply left without explaining why and could not speak well. It felt strange.

Convenient location

- I requested not to arrange my room at the end of the hallway. But my room was at the end of the hallway - my room is facing all aircon compressor from the building opposite. I never stayed in a 5 stars hotel with a poor view like this. Which is not worth for the room rate. - especially I mentioned would be appreciated to have a nice room, as this was a trip to celebrate my birthday with my family. - From my past experience with Grand Hyatt, it was very thoughtful, attention to details. But this time was disappointed , room is dusty, still had sauces from my in room breakfast after housekeeping services. - lastly, was surprised even was my birthday, not even a greeting card in the room when checking in.
