There was not much to like. Very basic hotel. Type of place that I won’t remember three months from now.

Not only was the check-in nonchalant and staff unmotivated but service mindset was just not there. Air conditioning was dripping water on the floor in the middle of the night. Switching it of did not help. In the morning, when checking out, I mentioned this at the reception and received a thank you for reporting. No gesture of even trying to apologise or compensate. I asked the receptionist if „that was it?“ and he mentioned „there is nothing we can do at this stage anymore“. I don’t know what the company policy is, but normally offering a free drink or something complimentary is rather basic in hospitality branch, but obviously not in this hotel. Never stayed in ibis before but one time was enough. Service mindset is a skill, anyone can learn it.
