The staff friendliness and willingness to please was exceptional although it is clear they are understaffed
The hotel area is a bit shabby and in need of an update. Our bed was comfortable and the shower powerful but the room could have done with a freshen up

The food was exceptional, and the Breakfast in the morning was excellent.
The service in the pub was superb.
The room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The surrounding area was also really nice.
The shower was not good, when turning the shower on there was hardly any water so was difficult to have a good shower.
When coming down for breakfast I did notice a lot of flies that were on the sliced bread for toast, I really think that this should if been covered, so I have it a miss.
Would be good if there was an iron in the room.
On the first evening I stayed I was due at an event. For which I was delayed because taxis rarely go to the pub and consequently had to end up driving myself to the event.
When booking maybe this should be highlighted.
